Ingredients for marinate :


Chicken - 600 g

Yogurt (dahi) 250 g

Fried onions - 1 Cup

Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp

Red chilli powder - 1,1/2 tsp

Turmeric powder (Haldi) 1/2 tsp

Garam masala powder - 1 tsp

Biryani masala - 1 tbsp

Green chilli's - 8 to 10

Cinnamon stick (dalchini) - 1inch

Black pepper (kali mirch) 1 tsp

Green cardamom (hari ilaichi) 5

Cloves (laung) 5

Cumin seeds (zeera) 1 tsp

Salt - 2 tsp

Chopped Dry fruits - 1/4 cup ( Cashew, Almonds, Pistachios)

Oil - 1 Cup

Chopped Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup


Rice ingredients :


750 gram Rice (Soaked for 1 hour)

Water - 3 liter

Salt - 3 tsp

Green cardamom - 3

Cloves - 5

Cinnamon sticks - 1 

Oil - 1 tsp


Milk - 1 cup

Yellow food color - 1/2 tsp

Lemon juice - 1 tsp

Kewra Essence - 1 tsp

Green coriander - 1 tbsp
