750 grams chicken

2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

150 grams curd

8 to 10 green chillies crushed in mixer

1 mace 1 star anise few bay leaves small piece of nutmeg 8 to 10 pepper corns, 3 to 4 cloves, 3 cardomons, few cinnamon sticks

1 tbsp coriander powder

2 tsp fennel seed powder

1 small lemon juice

1 big onion sliced

3 to 4 whole green chillies as per taste

salt to taste

1/2 kg basmati rice washed soaked 30 minutes

salt as per rice

1 tbsp desi ghee

few drops food colour

few drops kewra essence
