 Thalapakatti Chicken Biryani

Ingredients

Chicken – ½ Kg

Seerga samba rice – 2 cups (Approx. 400 grams, soaked 15 mins in water)

Coriander seeds – 2 teaspoon

Pepper – ½ teaspoon

Fennel seeds – ½ teaspoon

Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon

Cinnamon stick – 6 to 8

Bay leaf – 1

Mace – 1

Cloves – 10

Cardamom – 3

Star anise – 1

Kalpasi

Cashews 

Shallots – 200 grams (approx.)

Garlic cloves – 10 to 12

Ginger – 2 inch

Coriander leaves

Mint leaves

Green chilli- 4

Oil – 3 tbl spoon

Ghee – 2 tbl spoon

Grinded onion paste

Turmeric powder

Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon

Curd – 4 tbl spoon

Water – 4 cups

Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
