Chicken Biryani Recipe || Quick, Simple and Easy Biryani Recipe

 Chicken Biryani is made using chicken cooked in various spices and then mixed with boiled rice 

Method

1.Soak half kilo basmati rice in water for one hour


2.In a pan heat oil - 4 tablespoon


3.To this oil add sliced onions - 2 medium sized and fry till golden brown


4.Add ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoon and saute till raw smell disappears


5.Add boneless chicken pieces - 1/2 kilo

and salt - 1 teaspoon

Saute for 2 minutes


6. Add Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon

Biryani masala powder - 1 tablespoon

Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Mix and saute for 1 minute


7.Add diced tomato - 1 medium sized and cook till it turns smooth


8.Add Yogurt - 3 tablespoon and diced green chilies - 3

Mix it well


9.Cook till chicken turns tender


10.In a bowl bring water to boil

Water - 4 liter

To it add Salt - 2 tablespoon

Clarified butter - 1 tablespoon


11.When water boils add soaked rice and cook till 80% done


12.Drain water after rice is cooked


13.In another pan add 1 teaspoon clarified butter and a layer of rice then place another layer of chicken in the same way add layers and garnish with few mint and coriander leaves also add yellow food color mixed milk and at last pour two tablespoons of clarified butter


14.Now place an old tawa on stove and on it place biryani vessel and heat for 5 minutes under high flame then reduce flame and cook for 20 minutes this is called dum


15.After 20 minutes open lid and our biryani is ready


16.Serve hot with raita and baingan ki chutney
